Facilities
If you are expecting a swimming pool, sauna, gym or hot tub … this is not the place for you! But, we do have some amazing facilities that are guaranteed to make your stay more enjoyable and memorable. In particular, trying your hand at snooker on a full-size table is sure to be fun and an evening spent in the BBQ cabin with family or friends will be an experience not to forget.
Games Room
Our Games Room is housed in a converted barn, adjacent to the main house. It is available for free to all our guests.
In the Games Room you will find:
- Full-size snooker table
- Table tennis table
- Darts
- Library (Books and DVDs)
- Jigsaw puzzles
- Board games
- Children’s toys
- Local information
Please note: Children under 14 must be supervised. And to ensure the facility remains safe and in a good condition for all guests, food, drink and dogs are not permitted in the Games Room.
BBQ Cabin
The BBQ Cabin is sure to give you and your family an evening to remember!
The cabin is situated a short distance away from the cottages. From the outside it looks like a strange, hexagonal shed. But inside, it is an amazing, cosy hide-away, where everyone sits around the crackling, charcoal fire. Depending on your culinary preferences, you can barbecue food over the fire or use the special-purpose paella pan to pan-fry food. Equally well, you could simply toast marshmallows on skewers.
The cabin can comfortably sit about 8 people, and a few more at a push. We also have tables and chairs outside – so if it happens to be a lovely sunny day, you can eat outside too.
We do make a small charge for this facility but the price includes:
- Cleaned and prepared cabin
- Charcoal and firelighters
- ALL crockery, cutlery and BBQ tools
- Washing-up (just leave it all to us!)
Price: £5/person; minimum charge £20
Other Facilities
Laundry
We have a small laundry room which is accessed through the Games Room. It includes a washing machine and tumble dryer. Guests are welcome to use this facility for free.
WiFi
We’ll be honest: The WiFi is not great (and neither is the mobile reception.) But if you do wish to get on line, the free WiFi is accessible in and around the Games Room.
EV Charger
We don’t have a dedicated EV charging point, but we can provide a 13A mains socket for Electric Vehicles by prior arrangement. Guests will be charged for electricity used.
Dogs
One well behaved dog may be permitted in Pinstones or Munslow Cottage by prior arrangement and agreement with site rules. There is a small additional charge for this service. Please ask when booking.
